Digital Landscape Preservation: Sonoma Mountain Cemetery

After over 100 scans across 80-acres, I preserved the historic, and culturally important, cemetery digitally as a point cloud. The site was challenging due to its topographic complexity, limited view sheds, and numerous object obstructions.

The project included developing a software that allows the Sonoma Valley Historical Society and the general public to search the 80-acre scan and isolate individual plots based on queries. This allows people to incorporate 3D representations of specific plots into their research and enriching that representation with information.
